In DLP projector, responsible for the colors is the color wheel. From the beginning had passed through our minds that something strange was going on and the wheel does not turn properly. When the tsekarame and found that it works perfectly, there remained nothing else from the sensor (color wheels have a motion sensor in order to inform the mainboard for the speed of the wheel and this act accordingly).

The sensor was slightly moved from the correct position with the result that reads the wrong speed. This means that sent wrong information to the mainboard and this in turn sent wrong information to the chip and the color wheel.

The result was the chromatic paradoxes that we saw in the first pictures …

To measure the difference before and after cleaning, we got to a specific distance from the lens (somewhere in the 30 points) measurement with the loyxometro.
