NothingProjector launches ClassicSeries UST ALR floor-rising screens
NothingProjector introduced the Classic Series ALR motorized floor rising screens, a new screen series focusing mainly on material improvements and usability compared to typical CLR screens.
The screen uses a multi-layer PET Crystal structure (7 layers), including a black absorbing layer, filter layer, light-expanding layer, anti-glare layer and a dedicated 3D imaging layer, all working together to reduce ambient light and improve contrast and uniformity.

A key difference here is the 0.85 gain, which is noticeably higher than the usual ~0.6 gain found on most UST CLR screens, offering a better balance between brightness and contrast.
The screen also includes a protective top layer, making it scratch resistant and easy to clean, something that was always a weak point on traditional CLR materials.
Another detail is the acoustically transparent black section at the bottom, allowing speaker placement behind the screen without blocking sound.
On the feature side, it supports 4K / 8K and active 3D content, and also adds voice control support (Alexa / Google Assistant) along with trigger options for automatic operation.
Pricing is also very aggressive, making the Classic Series a very affordable option considering the multi-layer structure and overall feature set.

Overall, this is a more complete and practical approach compared to typical floor rising CLR screens, combining a more advanced optical design with improved everyday usability. We still need to test it and we will update you on its real-world performance.
