JMGO has introduced the N3 Ultimate, a new flagship projector that clearly moves beyond the typical lifestyle category, combining very high brightness, a flexible optical system, unbelievable contrast and Dolby Vision support. This is not just another “smart” projector. On paper, it sits closer to a proper high end home cinema model than just another lifestyle projector.

What stands out
The N3 Ultimate uses a triple laser light engine, aiming for high brightness and wide color coverage. JMGO claims up to 20,000:1 native contrast (!), which is a very ambitious number for this category, and something that will need to be verified in real measurements. More importantly, the projector offers real optical flexibility, with zoom and lens shift, something rarely seen in this category. The addition of a motorized gimbal further improves placement options.

Smart & Gaming
It runs on Google TV 14, with full app support, powered by a MediaTek platform (MT9679) with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Gaming support includes up to 240Hz at 1080p, VRR, and very low input lag, making it more than a casual gaming solution.

Quick take
The specs of the N3 Ultimate are insane, and if they are confirmed in the real world, then we can definitely say that the RGB laser DLP projector camp is on fire!
